into the world of other-than-stockinette-stitch socks. yarn is louet gems - 100% merino wool colorway 'crabapple' but it's really more porn star pink (ashley's description). pattern is ribbed lace from Sensational Knitted Socks. ashley has already promised these will disappear from my sock drawer.
it's fun. i did have to frog my first attempt but the pattern goes really fast. it's interesting to knit a pattern where every row is something new. and i'm following a chart!

Oh, very pretty! I can see why they are going to get stolen. And now I have to go dig into my SNS book...
A little late...didn't even get to computer Weds. Missed you ever so much - we didn't get any knitting done tho - busy with shoppers and "dropper-bys". I love these socks - they look so soft and ...rockin'. Let me know if you can get a day "down south" so we can all visit. Take care of that back - don't lay down too long as the weakness can start to get worse.
