i think they looked better than they tasted!
fresh-cut rosemary from the garden. stuffed with butter sautéed onions and crisp, tart slices of granny smith rubbed with brown sugar. this should have been delicious. but neither girl-child or i liked them.
but they sure were pretty to look at.

They look and sound great! What didn't you like?
Wow, it really does look appetizing! I hate when you put so much effort into a new recipe and it doesn't come out!
They do look delicious, but like you, I'm not sure I'd like them. ;-)
They do look good. The hubby and I have found out that a lot of things that look absolutely delicious in the recipe turn out to have a less than stellar taste. (He loves to experiment with gourmet recipes. I just help with the taste testing. lol)
Okay so it absolutely is suckish when a beautiful creation doesn't taste half as wonderful. I was watching my man Alton Brown last night and he was working with Pork Loin. Here's the link, to the recipe for Pork Wellington...it has dried apples in the center and proscuitto. I remember the first time I had proscuitto...I think that's when I became a foodie. Amen for friends like Kelly Sadowski who introduced me to real chinese food, Zingerman's and proscuitto! Okay so let me know if you try the recipe.
