inexplicable knitter tour '08

In case you hadn't heard, The Harlot THE. HARLOT. was in Indianapolis tonight. I went with muh knittas to Barnes & Noble (after a short crawl) to hear her witticisms in person. She is so good in print, but in person . . . she is so genuine, so real. And -so- funny!

The six of us enjoyed an evening of yarn fondling, yarn buying, yarn stitching and Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. It just don't get no better. I've got pictures to prove it.

Cami was knitting furiously. I can't wait to see how nice these socks turn out. Here's a picture just so she can complain about her manicure (or complete lack thereof as it were). But isn't the yarn pretty??

We were total groupies. Cami's idea. It was big fun. And hopefully, a little advertisement for the store.

A big shout out to Megynn at the end of the line. So good to see you!

And the Harlot herself with the sock that never ends.

Great job with the pix MeLLY! I feel a little hung-over (without the alcohol - sad). But I believe a great time was had by all. Hope you are recuperating today and do NOT GET SICK. Maybe we'll try to print some of your great efforts with pictures and post them in the shop. Something for the lil' shop owner to look back on... a good time. In the last picture Steph isn't giving us the finger, is she? Coolness. Love ya...
