i've been staring at these slippers for weeks. i can't even tell if they're cute any more. i fell in love with the pattern when i saw it on ravelry back in november, and i thought i'd love the finished product, but i don't. and i'm sad about that. they knit up like a dream - super quick! and they don't take very much wool so i thought they'd make great gifts but how can i gift something i don't love?
i do have one more pair to knit up for a friend. we'll see how i feel after that. i'll let you know.

Well, they're sure cute! My feet would get cold with the top exposed though. Love them with your tatoo! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThey LOOK super cute! I think that they would even look cute with a pair of hand knits underneath to keep feet super warm. Do they stay on? They seem a little low on the sides. You did a great job knitting them. I love the button!
ReplyDeleteCute, cute! I think I'm going to have to try these...
ReplyDeleteToo adorable! They make your feet look so dainty! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhen I was considering them, I noticed that a lot of people had made notes in their project pages that they didn't turn out quite as expected. Yours turned out very cute, though.
ReplyDeleteThey look gorgeous. Send 'em my way when you're tired of them! ;-) (Just kidding, but I really do like the way they look.)

ReplyDeleteLoving your bling on your magic slippers friend!
ReplyDeleteOooo la, la...I love the embellishment.
ReplyDeleteGet the groceries in - looks like 4-6" of snow Weds night. With all this cold weather I have felt like such a hermit lately. Me and the pup and knitting/reading/napping. If the weather is ok next week I think I have a road trip north on Thursday (?). Wanna play?
love, Robin
Thanks for stopping by my place. You've got a great blog.
ReplyDeleteAs for those slippers, those are fabulous. Anyone who knows anything would like them. Are they soft though? Which pattern/yarn did you use?
