what's cooking


with Ken out of town, I thought I'd take advantage and cook something a little on the fancy, non meat and potatoes side.
this lovely dish is simply Pasta With Scallops and Asparagus
very much like alfredo and so damn tasty.

eta: boy-child asked, "what's those chunks in the pasta?" i told him it was chicken. "chicken of the sea!" i muttered under my breath as i walked away. he ate it and he liked it. if he knew what it really was, he'd probaby barf. -shaking head- i'll tell him the truth later today after he eats the leftovers for lunch. heh heh

  2. Justin actually *ate* the scallops? I can't believe he bought the 'chicken' explaination, but then again, maybe he's more of a foodie than you think. It's not too often the cat's away so the mice can eat whatever they dream up! C
